1.Introduction
Battery cable is used to power the secondary circuit of electric arc-welding generators, the circuit that controls the electrode that emits the charge used to weld.
This cable is made from flexible copper wire surrounded by a protective covering that is resistant to flame, heat, oil and abrasions, among other things.
While welding cable is not meant to be part of any other system, it has a history of being used for public lighting arrangements.

5.Performance
1.Electric welding cable must have the heat resistance when it works at low voltage (the highest voltage of 200V) current conditions.
2.The long-term permissible operating temperature should be not less than 65°C.
3.Cable should be flexible, good bending performance because that it frequently move, twisted and cast.
4.Cable should require insulated , tearing resistance, Wear-resisting because that it is easily to be scraped and rubed from sharp steel component when it is laying.
5.The environmental conditions of using is complex,such as sunlight, water boiling,cement-contaction,engine oil and acid and alkali liquid-contaction, so it requires certain weather resistance and oil resistance, solvent resistance.
6.It requires good heat distortion resistance Sometime meet heat welding.
7.It requires small external diameter and light weight because of frequent moving.Type YHF has good oil and sunlight resistance as well as flame-retardant properties.
